Mad About Coco @ Fahrenheit 88 Bukit Bintang

Ok, so I'm blogging from my Samsung Galaxy S5 - let's see if this will turn out just fine.

I spent the entire day running some super important errands and towards the end of the day, i spent it on indulging myself.

Went to Parkamaya at Fahrenheit88 and bought myself a black and white striped pencil skirt to wear to work with a white shirt.

Had a scrumptious meal at a local restaurant and then stumbled upon this chocolate cafe which i guess was opened in Fahrenheit88 in Bukit Bintang just today.

I present to you...
Mad About Coco @ Fahrenheit88 Bukit Bintang!!

It's an attractive outlet dubbed in lovely colours - milky blue, milky pink and white - with a tinge of retro theme such as the flashing lights which form the alphabets and the black and white floor tiles.

Then there's also the menu in matching theme and colour.
(Sorry about the unmanicured nails)

Customers will have to pay upfront for their orders which will then be served to them when it's ready.
You will be given a number, like I was, after paying for your orders.

I ordered... waffles dipped in dark chocolate... simply because milk chocolate is too sweet for my liking... this is a personal choice, anyway.

Oh, and they also have props for you to fool about with. Big retro wigs are available in black and red for you to put on. If I'm the marketing person of this outlet, i'll make customers put any of the props on, take a picture of themselves in it, upload it with a hashtag #madaboutcoco on Instagram or Facebook and receive 10% off their bill instantly!! OK, my brains should really just take a break from work.

Here's a selfie of me in the chocolate cafe without any of the props because im no-fun-like-that!

Aaaannddd... here's another camwhore shot. LOL. #thisiswhatyoudowhenyoureoutalone

Toodles for now but do stay tuned to my blog for more updates coming your way next week!!

No, I am not going to tell you what is best to buy for your mother father brother sister boyfriend girlfriend grandmother grandather greatgrand uncle. That would just be silly - because - who knows them best if not you? And who am I to tell you what they will like, right?

So, the title of my blog post isn't really complete - and here's the completed version:

As a woman in her mid 20's, I have less than 10 pairs of heels.
Guys, if you're reading this and you don't get it.... Ask any woman. She'll tell you it's unbelievably less.
Hence, I could do with this pair of festive silver heels this Christmas.
Plus, it also matches almost ALL my outfit, and yes, including the outfits I've listed above!
RM 79.00

6. Havaianas Slim Tropical Flip Flops

Since we're on the topic of shoes - here's another pair that I want. I know it's a little pricey for a pair of slippers and I sure do know that you can't reach Heaven just by walking with these but the colour combination just captures my eyes like no other.

Appearances One Stop Boutique Spa @ Kota Damansara

What I really love about this one in particular is.... it's super close to home ;)

Appearances One Stop Boutique Spa at Kota Damansara, PJ.

True to its name - it's a ONE STOP SPA BOUTIQUE that offers every single kind of beauty services you can think about - from the usual facial and hair wash to yes, non-surgical procedures like lip fillers, etc!

I went through 3 beauty treatments - beginning with a skin firming facial.

The ambience of the facial treatment room was relaxing.

Getting those zits and whiteheads popped, ouch!!

Beautician applying a collagen-firming-cooling gel to my skin.

And with the help of a machine, rubs the gel into my skin for deep-skin penetration.
The machine thingy sends out a poky-like vibration, very similar to the process of skin-lazer
(don't worry, this is NOT at all a skin laser procedure!)

The right side of my face is covered in gel and the left side is not, by purpose.
After rubbing off the gel on the right side of my face, the beautician asked me if I can see the difference between the two sides and as much as I hate to admit it, I could.

The right side was smoother, seriously firmed and slightly fairer. I kid you not. I don't know how they do what they do but it was seriously awesome.

Anyway, this is me after the treatment was done on the entire face =)

After facial, I received my next treatment in the form of a Jacuzzi followed by an hour long of full body massage using ginger scented oil for extra relaxation and to ease away muscle knots! =)

Le Jacuzzi all to myself!

Because I'm using a Samsung S5, I CAN go into the water with my phone without worrying about it falling into the water, ha ha!

After 20mins in the Jacuzzi and an hour long massage, I received my 3rd and final treatment which I was initially quite reluctant to do (I'll tell you why in a bit!) - Eyelash Extensions!

I have done eyelash extensions a few times in the past and every single time I have the extensions removed, a lot of my real eyelash will come out together with it =(
Hence, I was reluctant to do this treatment initially but after learning how it's done differently in this beauty parlour, I went ahead with the treatment.

Eyelash extensions typically lasts up to a month and can lasts up to two months if you go back for a touch up. The problem with other places that offer eyelash extension services is that they'll stick the ONE fake lash to THREE real lashes of yours, which will cause the real lash to get all tangled and messed up with the glue and eventually fall off together with the fake lash.

For this beauty parlour, they stick ONE fake lash to ONE real lash so that the outcome will be neater and will reduce the chances of your real lash falling off.

As a result?
This.

And this.

And this.

And this.

And this.

And.. this is how it looks like after 3 weeks WITHOUT any touch up done to it yet..

The eyelash extensions procedure takes about 2 hours and theres absolutely no pain involved whatsoever!
After the procedure, this are the do's and don'ts... well, mostly don'ts.

1. DONT put any eye make up - although eye shadow is fine but I still dont recommend it. Eyeliner at the lower lids is fine. STRICTLY NO MASCARA or eyelash curlers.
2. DONT rub your eyes for very obvious reasons duhh!
3. TRY NOT to wet the eyelashes - it's advisable that you sponge your face instead of washing it under running water or splashing water on it.
(this is the one rule I can't follow so I end up washing my entire face under the running shower but after shower, I place a sheet of tissue under my eyelids and blinked a few times until water disappears from the lashes and absorbed in to the tissue).
4. If you find the extensions messed up after shower, use the lash comb (like the mascara comb but WITHOUT mascara) and come the lashes - get this right - comb ONLY the top part of the lash (unlike how you usually apply mascara) from inside out.

Go on.. if you have never tried eyelash extensions, you really should give it a try once and get those lush lashes and sexy eyes you've always wanted. First time trial costs RM99 only.
